We will get back to work

We are moving in the direction of getting back to work. We have some projects planned we just have to get ourselves back in motion. But hang in there new stuff is on the way. Hubby has been home for about a week now, we have just been hangin out spending some time with the kids. But nothing lasts forever. We do have some actual work coming up but we are probably going to start with building some things for our family. There are some projects we have been wanting to do for us and the kids so we will be fitting them into our schedule. They are going to be a little different than what we have been building (not beds) and also there are some new little things that we have been wanting to try that we figure we might as well try on ourselves first. So in the next couple of days there should be some new pictures up.

Both safe and set up

Still no new pictures for you, but the second of our customers in New York City has let me know that the toddler size loft bed has made it safely and they have it all set up. It is always a nice thing to know that everything has worked out just the way you hoped it would. A big thank you to both of them for being willing to be our guinea pig for shipping through Greyhound. It is nice to know that it is possible to do that.

First one arived

I have no picture to go along with it but the first of our little toddler beds has arrived safely in New York City. Our customer says that it arrived (the bitter chocolate bunk beds) in good condition. That is very good news to me. The send off got a little stress full and so I am glad to hear that one has made it to it's new home.

Maiden voyage

It sounded easy enough, my husband was going off to work for a month and all I had to do was finish up two little beds and get them painted and shipped off to New York City. It is amazing how complicated things can get with four kids and only one parent, especially when they keep getting sick. I would like to say that we are all past that now but I have another one down this morning. Anyway three weeks later I did actually ship off the little beds to New York. This is them all packaged up and ready to go. The one above is the bunk beds and the one below is the loft.
Now we will see how Greyhound is as a way to get a toddler size bed from Missouri to New York. I am hoping that it will go well. Now I guess we are on a bit of a break. There are no more orders going right now until he gets back in 11 days. Now I guess I am a lady of leisure, all I have to do is take care of four kids, all the animals and the little things that tend to come up around here that you would never expect. Sounds like a vacation.
